CITY OF PESHTIGO SPECIAL COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 17, 2026 Mayor Berman called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. with the following present: Alderpersons Debbie Sievert, Keith Klimek, Robert Warren, Joel Ahrens, and Tony O’Neill. Members excused: Brigitte Schmidt Attending: Public Works Director Matt Decur, Matthew Siegwart of Crosscut Maintenance Services. Pledge of Allegiance. Motion by Warren and seconded by Sievert to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried 5/0. Public Hearing: Split of Crosscut Maintenance Services, LLC property at the south end of Rainbow Cir. described as Lot 1 of CSM 884 except Document #749480, Parcel No. 271-00702.00 by Certified Survey Map. Mayor Berman opened the Public Hearing at 5:01 p.m. Mayor Berman called three times for anyone to speak “for” or “against” the split of Crosscut Maintenance Services, LLC property at the south end of Rainbow Cir. described as Lot 1 of CSM 884 except Document #749480, Parcel No. 271-00702.00 by Certified Survey Map. Public Hearing comments: None Mayor Berman declared the Public Hearing closed at 5:02 p.m. Persons desiring to be heard from the floor: None Committee Reports: Plan Commission – May 14, 2026 • Recommended Council approve the Certified Survey Map for Crosscut Maintenance Services, LLC for property located at the south end of Rainbow Cir. described as Lot 1 of CSM 884 except Document #749480, Parcel No. 271-00702.003 as presented. Motion by Warren and seconded by Sievert to approve the Certified Survey Map, for Crosscut Maintenance Services, LLC, property located at the south end of Rainbow Cir. described as Lot 1 of CSM 884 except Document #749480, Parcel No. 271-00702.003 subject to the following agreements, understandings, and conditions: 1. The owner shall complete all necessary public services and improvements required for the Certified Survey Map, including but not limited to streets, sidewalks, sewer, water, and related public improvements. 2. The owner shall dedicate to the City all public streets, sidewalks, utilities, and other public improvements constructed by permit or otherwise as part of the Certified Survey Map, upon completion and acceptance by the City. 3. Approval of the Certified Survey Map is subject to Common Council approval of an agreement and loan to the owner, with such terms and conditions as determined necessary by the City Engineer and City Attorney. Any loan funds released by the City shall be used only for the required public improvements associated with the Certified Survey Map, and the release of said funds shall be subject to the terms of the approved agreement. 5. The Certified Survey Map approval shall be contingent upon completion and approval of the final agreement, loan documents, and any related conditions required by the City Engineer and City Attorney.
