Others Attending: Mayor Katie Berman and Attorney David Spangenberg. Chair Schmidt called the meeting to order at 8:01 a.m. Motion by Schmidt and seconded by Warren to approve the agenda. Motion carried 3/0. Meeting Minutes: Motion by Schmidt and seconded by Warren to approve the April 27, 2026 meeting minutes. Motion carried 3/0. Closed Session: Motion by Schmidt and seconded by O’Neill to move into Closed Session per: WI S.S. 19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. - Police Chief Vacancy. WI S.S.19.85(1)(e) deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session: - Teamsters Union Local 662 contract review. Motion carried 3/0. CLOSED SESSION 8:02 a.m. – 8:21 a.m. Motion by Schmidt and seconded by Warren to move into Open Session. Motion carried 3/0. No action taken as a result of Closed Session.
