3/1/2023 Board Meeting Agenda Page 1 MINUTES REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF CRIVITZ BOARD OF TRUSTEES Public present: Glen Franzen, Sewer Superintendent 1) Call to Order: President Grandaw called the meeting to order at 4:00pm. 2) Roll Call: Members present: President Amy Grandaw Trustee Michael Strandt Trustee George R. Gocht Trustee Ross Behrendt Trustee Stew Swanson (Zoom) Trustee Ginger Deschane (Zoom) Trustee Jeff Dorschner (Zoom) Also present: Clerk/Treasurer Kaitlin Deschane 3) Adoption of Agenda: Motion by Trustee Michael Strandt, seconded by Trustee Ross Behrendt, to adopt the agenda as presented. Vote: Ayes: 7, Nyes: 0. Motion Passed. 4) STARS Grant Engineering Contract: Motion by Trustee Michael Strandt, seconded by Trustee George Gocht, to contract with Ayers & Associates for the Bike/Walking path in an amount not to exceed $5750. Discussion: The motion was changed to reflect the correct engineering company name. The contract includes engineering plans for the path and applying for the STARS grant. This is a new grant this year for rural communities with a population of less than 5000 people. The Department of Transportation recommended that we apply for the grant. The Village will be partnering with the Crivitz School District to complete the path on Oak St then east on South Ave to the Highway with a possible path heading west to the High School. Vote: Ayes: 7, Nyes: 0. Motion Passed. ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Trustee Stew Swanson, seconded by Trustee Jeff Dorschner, that the meeting be adjourned at 4:11pm. Vote: Ayes: 7, Nays: 0. Motion Passed.
