MINUTES Special Board Meeting September 24th, 2024 Public Present: Susan Karner, Rudi Jensen, Eric Kutches, Paul Rademaker 1) Call to Order: The meeting will be called to order at 6pm 2) Roll Call: Members present: President Amy Grandaw Trustee Ginger Deschane (via Zoom) Trustee Jeff Baumann Trustee George Gocht (via Phone/Zoom) Trustee Cory Siebert Trustee Michael Strandt Also present: Clerk/Treasurer Kaitlin Deschane 3) Adoption of Agenda: Motion by Trustee Cory Siebert, seconded by Trustee Michael Strandt, to adopt the agenda as presented. Ayes: 6, Nays: 0. Motion Passed. 4) Village Property – North of Mira: Motion by Trustee Michael Strandt, seconded by Trustee Cory Siebert, to adjourn to closed session to discuss possible sale of property north of Mira Ave. Roll call vote: Gocht: Aye, Strandt: Aye, Deschane: Aye, Baumann: Aye, Siebert: Aye, Grandaw: Aye. Motion Passed. Entered closed session at 6:02, all public present stayed in closed session. Paul Rademaker and Susan Karner left closed session at 6:17 and returned at 6:27. Trustee Deschane left at 6:45pm *Closed session is in accordance with WI Statute sec. 19.85(1)(e) which states that “…any meeting of a….governmental body, upon motion duly made and carried, may be convened in closed session under one or more of the exemptions provided in this section…(e)…Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. 5) Reconvene in Open Session – announce action taken if any: Motion by Trustee Cory Siebert, seconded by Trustee Michael Strandt, to reconvene in open session at 6:47. Ayes: 5, Nays: 0. Motion Passed. Motion by Trustee Cory Siebert, seconded by Trustee George Gocht to hold the sale of the property until we can get more information on TID #3 to Paul Rademaker. Ayes: 5, Nays: 0. Motion Passed 6) Adjourn: Motion by Trustee Cory Siebert, seconded by Trustee Michael Strandt, to adjourn the meeting at 6:49 pm. Ayes: 5, Nays: 0. Motion Passed.
