March 31, 2025 Special Town Mtg Liquor - Operator

TOWN OF PORTERFIELD SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING March 31, 2025 Chairperson Dennis Bergeson, called the special town board meeting to order at 1 PM for the purpose of action on liquor/operator licenses. Audrey Guseck made a motion to accept from the surrender of the liquor license of Rivers Edge from Frances Sohr, President of Sohr Enterprises contingent of sale of the business upon closing April 7, 2025. Dennis Bergeson seconded the motion. Roll Call: Audrey Guseck – yes, Dennis Bergeson – yes. Motion approved. Audrey Guseck made a motion to grant the alcohol liquor license to the Rivers Edge, Trade name – SNBK, LLC; Agent, Sherry Veriha, contingent upon the sale of said property April 7, 2025. Dennis Bergeson seconded the motion. Roll Call: Audrey Guseck – yes, Dennis Bergeson – yes. License approved upon sale of property. Audrey Guseck made a motion to approve the operator’s licenses of Tara McKenney and Bethany Emler for River’s Edge, SNBK, LLC contingent on background checks. Dennis Bergeson seconded the motion. Roll Call: Audrey Guseck – yes, Dennis Bergeson – yes. Licenses approved contingent upon background checks. Audrey Guseck made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 1:22 PM.
