SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
Community Center – Monday August 26, 2024 5:30 pm
Chairman Sagan called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm with all board members present except Clerk Ducat. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Supervisor Campbell asked if we got three bids for pulverizing Coleman Ave. Supervisor Magley said that Aurora, Pembine and Porterfield put out three bids and MCC was the cheapest at about $6500 per mile. Campbell feels they need bids for these projects and suggested making a motion to get bids on future projects. Supervisor Campbell made a motion and Supervisor Magley seconded it minus the two already in the works.
Supervisor Campbell and Tilly Wollenberg met with Jim Parr regarding the port a pottys for the Fireman’s Picnic. They declined the offer of the donation of the two port a pottys but offered to move them. The Parks and Rec would like the Fire Dept to accept any responsibility for any damage incurred from moving them and then have them returned to a permanent spot. Supervisor Magley made a motion to move the port a pottys against the fence and Supervisor Campbell seconded it.
Supervisor Campbell asked the reasoning behind the gravel at the ballfield. Tilly Wollenberg told her it was a donation to cover up where the stumps were ground. There are water issues that need to be addressed.
Chairman Sagan gives the guys an assignment sheet on projects, etc that need to be done for accountability. Sagan communicates with the Jim 3 to 5 times a day usually on what needs to be or is being done. All board members need to know what is going on and there should be some kind of plan.
Supervisor Campbell made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Supervisor Magley seconded it.
Meeting adjourned at 6:10
