had been socially isolated with quality of life barriers. He had natural supports and agreed to look into
Long-Term Care. He was connected to the IRIS program where he is in charge of his care. A month later,
he was observed out in town on a motorized scooter appearing happy and not isolated.
2. ADRC Manager Program and Financial Report - Sarah Zielke/Paul Brenner
Manager Sarah Zielke highlighted numerous items from the program report. Denise Garrett joined the
nutrition program on August 31 as a site-aide driver. Currently, the ADRC is recruiting for a part-time
administrative assistant position for the front desk; interviews are on September 28th. Staff are working
with Corporation Counsel on the bid for the 85.21 transportation contract and intend to have it prepared
for the November board meeting. Thus far, in 2026, there has been a 19% increase in congregate meals
and Options Counselors have been with 1500 (unduplicated) individuals.
Upon discussion of the transportation subsidy, a motion was made to increase the transportation subsidy
