Resolution to Disallow Claim of Cindy Bijold and Cynthia Storm - Deb Blevins Blevins gave an overview of the claim and explained it is the recommendation of WMMIC, our liability insurance carrier, that the claim be disallowed. This claim is over the $10,000 threshold so it will require County Board approval. This item was reviewed by the committee and will be forwarded to the County Board for review at the 10/13/2026 meeting. Human Resources Policy Manual – Revisions Related to Implementation of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) - Andy Albarado/Leah Simington This item was postponed from the 09/01/2026 meeting. Simington explained the proposed changes and how they would impact employees. This item was reviewed by the committee and will be forwarded to the County Board for review at the 10/13/2026 meeting. Updates, Announcements, and Correspondence 1. County Board Chair Report 2. County Administrator Operation Report a. Preliminary Update on 2027 Budget – Andy Albarado Albarado gave a preliminary review of the FY27 budget. No big changes are being proposed. Some information is still not final, and they are waiting for the final numbers, including the State Shared Revenue, which is still a projected number. They should get the final numbers this week. b. Update on Courthouse Security and Implementation of Hybrid Option #4 – Andy Albarado Albarado reported the security upgrades related to the implementation of Hybrid Option #4 are complete as directed by the County Board. This item was reviewed by the committee and will be forwarded to the County Board for review at the 10/13/2026 meeting. 8. Agenda Items for Future Consideration 9.
