Chippewa County Agriculture & Extension Committee Regular Meeting August 6, 2026 Chippewa County Courthouse, Room 302 7:45 AM 1. Call to Order 2. Roll Call Members Present: Matthew Peterson, Pam Guthman, Kari Ives, Les Danielson, Charles Bomar Members Absent: Others Present: Andy Albarado, Jerry Clark, Ryan Sterry, Margaret Murphy, Jeanne Walsh, Jordan Blue, Kristen Bruder, Amber Gilles, Echo and Jaclyn Sadler 3. Members of the Public Wishing to Be Heard (Comments will be limited to 5 minutes per speaker.) There were no members of the public wishing to be heard. 4. Human Development & Relationships - Jeanne Walsh G. Positive Youth Development - Jordan Blue 2. Area Extension Director - Kristen Bruder 6. Business Items 1. Community Development Educator Position Discussion - Kristen Bruder Kristen Bruder informed the committee that Garret had resigned his position a few weeks ago and that they are looking to fill the position. She has spoken with all three (Eau Claire, Chippewa and Dunn) counties to confirm that they wanted to move forward with filling this position and all said yes. Kristen Bruder will work with the three counties to draft/craft the position description so they can begin recruiting. She will also invite 2 members of the committee to participate in the interviews of the candidates. 7. Agenda Items for Future Consideration Supervisor Bomar would like to see follow up data from the different nitrate trials and Supervisor Guthman would like to see a follow up from the water summit. 8.
