CITY OF CHIPPEWA FALLS NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING (See Also: Quorum Notice Below) In accordance with the provisions of the Wisconsin State Statutes, Sec. 19.84, notice is hereby given that a public meeting of the: COMMON COUNCIL will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 11:00 am, City Hall, Council Chambers, 30 West Central Street, Chippewa Falls, WI. The meeting may be viewed via livestream at www.chippewafalls-wi.gov/278/City-Council-Meeting-Live-Stream. 1. CLERK CALLS THE ROLL 2. CLOSED SESSION (a) Closed Session* under Wis. Stats. Sec. 19.85 (1)(c) for “considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility” to discuss and consider the following: i. Conduct interview of candidate/finalist for the position of City Administrator: Stelzner. ii. Conduct interview of candidate/finalist for the position of City Administrator: Gabrielatos. iii. Review/discuss/consider interview results, application materials, and other employment assessments of the City Administrator candidates. iv. Discuss/consider extension of a conditional offer of employment for the position of City Administrator and employment terms with direction to PAA to negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract with the candidate for final consideration by the Council. (b) Reconvene into Open Session for possible action on Closed Session items. * The Common Council may recess from time to time during the Closed Session and meeting. 3. ADJOURNMENT NOTICE OF QUORUM: During the June 29, 2026 Special Council Meeting, it is anticipated the Common Council will recess for lunch at or near 12:00 pm after the first interview and return to Closed Session at or near 12:45 pm. Lunch will take place in the basement auditorium of City Hall and while a quorum of the Common Council will be present, no deliberation or formal action will be considered or taken.
