GENERAL PUBLIC WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION None EXPEDITED ITEMS 1) Wissota Lane Final Plat – Mr. Kyle Zerbian explained there are 19 lots and two outlots; the stormwater plan needed a few minor adjustments, and those have been made and the revised plan is under review by Chippewa County. He was asked if the developer had any plans for including a recreation area for the residents; he said the plat included none. It was also noted the plat did not include a connection with 72nd Ave., which was a condition in the approval vote for the preliminary plat at the May PRTLU meeting, and the cul-de-sac exceeded the allowed 500-foot length per the Subdivision ordi- nance. Following discussion, a motion recommending the Town Board approve the Yellow River Ridge plat if the revised stormwater plan is accepted was made by Sue Lane / Jerry Zais; motion passed by voice vote with one “Nay” vote. FINANCIAL REPORT Doug Matthews reported that the Room Tax account had expenses in the past month of $2,310.00 for the con- crete pad under the bleachers. There was no Room Tax revenue received. The May 31, 2026 balance is $55,773.03. He reminded Commissioners that a total of $3,543.00 has been allocated for wind screen slats for the pickle ball courts. OLD BUSINESS 1) Permissible Room Tax Uses – Sue Lane reported she had met with Ellie Peabody regarding Room Tax uses. Ms. Peabody recommended the Commission develop a Strategic Statement for when the Commission funds something (example: “Investing dollars into facilities with the intent to host events to bring people to the Town”); she then offered a few possible projects, including adding kayak rental at the boat landing. . A sugges- tion was made to request a list of projects other municipalities have used Room Tax money on. No further Commission action was taken. 2) 2026 Boat Parade – Sue Lane distributed copies of a proposed flyer / poster promoting the event. The flyer was well received, and many were taken to be posted around the area, including a smaller version to be given Page 2 of 2 to cars at the Brick boat landing. There will be no judges or prizes awarded. No further Commission action was taken. 3) Pickle Ball Wind Screen – Mark Sedlacek explained the furnished slats would not fit into a 30-foot section of fencing that had been repurposed from the old tennis court area, the cost of the unused slats have been re- funded to the Town. He had a quote from American Fence to replace that section with new fence and then in- stall the slats for a total of $2,705.00. Discussion resulted in a motion for the Town to pay $2,121.00 for the replacement fence and the Commission to pay $584.00 for the slats being made by Mark Sedlacek / Jerry Zais; motion passed by unanimous voice vote. 4) Harvey Rec Area Signage - Scott Faris said the Town had learned that yard waste was being dropped in the rec area, and recommended signage prohibiting this. Jerry Zais added that some residents were also ac- cessing the ATV trail directly from private land, crossing the pedestrian trail. Following discussion, a motion to draft a letter to be hand-delivered to residents and then add signage and enforcement if the problems persist, was made by Sue Lane / Doug Matthews; motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
