Town of Lafayette PARKS, RECREATION, TOURISM, LAND USE and PLANNING COMMISSION November 20, 2025 6:00 PM Lafayette Town Hall CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL The Special meeting was called to order by Chair Scott Faris at 6:00 PM. The following members were present: Scott Faris, Sue Lane, Doug Matthews, DeWayne Krumenauer, and Jerry Zais; a quorum was present. Rob Brown, Jenna Hazelton, Neil Mathwig, and Mark Sedlacek were not present. APPROVAL OF SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA A motion to accept the Agenda for the November 20, 2025 Special meeting was made by Jerry Zais / Sue Lane; motion was approved by unanimous voice vote. EXPEDITED ITEMS 1) PRTLU Input to Chippewa County Comprehensive Plan – Mr. Chris Straight from the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission is in the process of updating the Chippewa County Compre- hensive Plan, and met with the PRTLU Commission to elicit their input. Topics discussed included strate- gies and trends for preservation of AG lands, the impact of short-term tourist rentals, intergovernmental relations, tax base preservation, and arising community planning issues. No Commission motions or ac- tions were taken. NEXT MEETING DATE - Meeting date is December 8, 2025 at 7:00 PM. MOTION TO ADJOURN A motion to adjourn was made by Jerry Zais / Sue Lane; motion passed by voice vote at 7:21 PM.
