Town of Lafayette PARKS, RECREATION, TOURISM, LAND USE and PLANNING COMMISSION October 20, 2025 6:00 PM Lafayette Town Hall CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL The Special meeting was called to order by Chair Scott Faris at 6:00 PM. The following members were present: Scott Faris, Sue Lane, Doug Matthews, Mark Sedlacek, and Jerry Zais; a quorum was present. Jenna Hazelton, Neil Mathwig, and DeWayne Krumenauer were not present. APPROVAL OF SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA A motion to accept the Agenda for the October 20, 2025 Special meeting was made by Jerry Zais / Sue Lane; motion was approved by unanimous voice vote. EXPEDITED ITEMS 1) Henry Trust CSM – No representative was present. Commissioners had questions regarding planned placement of the driveway for Lot 2, and treatment of the access to the lake. A motion recommending the Town Board approve the CSM with the condition that the driveway for Lot 2 enter onto 52nd Avenue and the driveway for Lot 1 enter onto 195th Street was made by Mark Sedlacek / Sue Lane; motion passed by a 3 – 2 voice vote. 2) PRTLU Tourism Representative Candidate Interviews – Scott Faris stated the Commission had re- ceived two applications for the open position, one from Mr. Robert Brown and one from Mr. Lee Heike. Following interview questions to both candidates, a motion recommending the Town Board appoint Robert Brown as the PRTLU Tourism Representative was made by Mark Sedlacek / Sue Lane; motion passed by unanimous voice vote. A follow-up motion recommending the Town Board appoint Lee Heike as an Alternate Tourism Representative was made by Scott Faris / Sue Lane; motion passed by unani- mous voice vote. NEXT MEETING DATE - Meeting date is November 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM. MOTION TO ADJOURN A motion to adjourn was made by Sue Lane / Jerry Zais; motion passed by voice vote at 6:44 PM.
