EXPEDITED ITEMS
1) Steward Rezone – Realtor Dana Yoder explained the reason for the rezone from Local Commercial
and R-2 to all R-1 was to eventually create three parcels by CSM and have their zoning better match the
existing surrounding uses. One concern expressed by the Commission was that the proposed new street
to access the large west parcel would not correspond to an existing intersection. A motion to recommend
the Town Board approve the rezone was made by Jerry Zais / Mark Sedlacek; motion passed by unani-
mous voice vote.

Doug Matthews reported that the October 31, 2024 Disc Golf account balance remained at $5,916.20 with
no expenditures for the past month. The General Use account for October 31, 2024 also had no expendi-
tures, leaving a balance of $9,332.48. The $3,450.00 earmarked for payment to Chippewa County for
bike trail signage remains pending. The Room Tax account for October 31, 2024 had expenditures total-
ing $5,260.49 (batting cage concrete and disc golf course stairs) and had received new revenue of
$12,691.23, leaving a balance of $62,239.14. A motion to accept the October 31, 2024 Financial Report
was made by Jerry Zais / DeWayne Krumenauer; motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
OLD BUSINESS
1) PRTLU Bylaw Revisions - Jerry Zais explained the current Bylaws need revising to reflect the Com-
mission’s responsibilities vis a vis being the Town’s Planning Commission, and that the revisions would
go into effect only if the Town Board approves them. No further Commission action was taken.
2) Commissioner Terms of Office – Doug Matthews said the terms for Scott Faris, Jerry Zais, and him
expire in December; each would have to submit an application to the Town Board soon if they wish reap-
pointment to new terms beginning in January, 2025. No further Commission action was taken.
3) Boat Landing Dock - Jerry Zais reported one of the 24-foot docks at the Brick Boat Landing is in
need of replacement; a suitable replacement from the same supplier as the remaining docks will cost
about $7,500.00, but may be somewhat less if ordered in the winter months. He then proposed using
PRTLU Room Tax funds to purchase the replacement dock, and added there may be outside donations
available. Following discussion, a motion to commit up to $7,500.00 of PRTLU Room Tax funds to cover
any shortfall in solicited donations for a replacement 24-foot dock was made by DeWayne Krumenauer /
Mark Sedlacek; motion passed by unanimous voice vote.

ball courts has been increased in height, the stairs at hole #8 of the disc golf course has been
built, and the skating rink is being started.
Doug Matthews asked the Commissioners to consider projects to use the additional Room Tax
