Clerks Report: Previous minutes from March 11, 2025 Town Board Meeting. Check register presented for approval. 6. SPECIAL PRESENTATION : Prochnow Assessing is here to present on Town of Wheaton 2025 property assessment per Wisconsin State Statutes Section 70.365 7. Special Board Action: a. Review/Discuss/Act: On appointment of a Plan Commission member for a 3-year term currently held by Jessi Jones. The current commissioner may request reappointment. This term runs from April 2025 to April 2028. b. Review/Discuss/Act: On appointment of a Plan Commission member for a 3-year term currently held by Sara Holte. The current commissioner may request reappointment. This term runs from April 2025 to April 2028. c. Review/Discuss/Act: On appointment of a Fire Commission member for a 3-year term currently held by Taylor Quinnell. The current commissioner may request reappointment. This term runs from April 2025 to April 2028. 8. Public Comments a. The Town Board desires to hear the viewpoints of Town of Wheaton residents. b. Each speaker shall provide their full name and address for the record. c. Each speaker is allotted 5 minutes to speak on a non-agenda item or an agenda item when it is discussed. The Town Board reserves the right to allow the public to speak more than once, but only after all attendees have been allowed to speak. Multiple speakers on the same topic will only be allowed if they are presenting new information as determined by the Chair. All comments must relate to a single topic. The Town Board members cannot discuss/act on public comment items if not included on the approved agenda. REMINDERS: Annual Meeting for the Town of Wheaton will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall. Open Book will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Town Hall Board of Review will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Town Hall. 9. Review/Discuss/Act: Plan Commission auditing all ordinances with no updates in the last 5 years (Audit to include ordinance still relevant, ordinance updates needed) e. Review/Discuss: American Trails - Trails Capacity Grant Application Update f. Review/Discuss/Act: Approve Bartender License Applications g. Review/Discuss/Act: Appoint a new cemetery sexton and set compensation h. Review/Discuss: Village/City requirements for the Town of Wheaton to include Town of Wheaton research and information collected, property annexation process, and an alternative of utilizing a Cooperative Boundary Plan agreement 12.
