Clerks Report: Previous minutes from February 11, 2025 Town Board Meeting. Check register presented for approval. SPECIAL PRESENTATION: Mr. Doug Matthew is here to present on MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) with regards to Wheaton Fire & Rescue 6. Special Board Action: a. Review/Discuss/Act: On appointment of a new Town Board Chair to fill the vacancy left by Bob Sworski. This term will run from April 2024 to April 2025. The chosen elector shall take the oath of office and be seated at the board for the remainder of this meeting. b. Review/Discuss/Act: On appointment of a Fire Commission member for a 3-year term. This term runs from April 2024 to April 2027. 7. Public Comments a. The Town Board desires to hear the viewpoints of Town of Wheaton residents. b. Each speaker shall provide their full name and address for the record. c. Each speaker is allotted 5 minutes to speak on a non-agenda item or an agenda item when it is discussed. The Town Board reserves the right to allow the public to speak more than once, but only after all attendees have been allowed to speak. Multiple speakers on the same topic will only be allowed if they are presenting new information as determined by the Chair. All comments must relate to a single topic. The Town Board members cannot discuss/act on public comment items if not included on the approved agenda. REMINDERS: Annual Meeting for the Town of Wheaton will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall. Open Book will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Town Hall Board of Review will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Town Hall. 8.
