Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Lake Holcombe Town Board Meeting Meeting Minutes March 13, 2025 Present: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher. Others Present: Tracey Larson, Jim Mataczynski, Ginna Young, Ben Jordan, Pam Guthman, J. Scheffler. Call To Order: Meeting called to order by Guthman at 7:00 p.m. Minutes: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to approve the minutes from the February 13, 2025 board meeting as presented. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to accept the treasurers report as presented. Motion carried. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to cash in the CD that is at renewal and shop around for the best money market account to put it in. Motion carried. Division of land on 290th Avenue: J. Scheffler presented a new county plat for board approval. The board was in full agreement for approval but a motion was never made. The chairman and clerk signed the plat. Motion for approval will be put on the April agenda. Chairman’s Report: Report given by Guthman giving updates on road bans, Emergency Management for Elected Officials, Public Service Commission, “in kind contribution quote given to the Lake Holcombe Improvement Association for the new playground equipment project at the Wayside Beach. Public Comment: None. Transfer of land at the Veteran’s Memorial Site: Staudacher decided he would trade the 30’ of land he retained on the west side of the property for the 30’ of land on the east side. It will have to be resurveyed. Quotes for new roof on Wayside Beach bathrooms and Native American building at the town hall: Tabled until April. Update the 5-year Road Improvement Plan: Motion by Olson, second by Staudacher to approve the updated 5 year Road Improvement Plan. Motion carried. Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Proposed quorum for the Veteran’s Memorial committee: The committee agreed to have a quorum of nine members. Motion by Staudacher, second by Olson to approve the quorum for the Veteran’s Memorial committee. Motion carried. 290th Street Road Project: Discussion held. Project is an LRIP project. Motion by Olson, second by Staudacher to approve the project and place an add for bids. Motion carried. Clerk’s Report: Building permits were reviewed. Motion by Olson, second by Staudacher to approve alcohol and operator licenses for Egg Roll Chick and the Lion’s Club. Motion carried. Approve Bills: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to approve the bills as presented. Motion carried. Adjourn: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 pm. Motion carried.
