Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Lake Holcombe Town Board Meeting Meeting Minutes December 12, 2024 Present: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher. Others Present: Tracey Larson, Jim Mataczynski, Ginna Young, Ben Jordan, Jamie Larson. Pam Guthman. Call To Order: Meeting called to order by Guthman at 7:06 p.m. Minutes: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to approve the minutes from the November 14,2024 board meeting, public budget meeting, and special electors meeting as presented. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to accept the treasurers report as presented. Motion carried. Chairman’s Report: Guthman talked about new door knobs on all town buildings and sanitary building; Xcel Energy giving permission for new playground equipment at the Wayside Beach; missing weighing equipment stolen off of the County M bridge. Public Comment: P. Guthman announced that the Chippewa County Administrator is leaving so they are searching for a new one. Approval of proposed changes to Chapter 11 Boating & Water Regulations in the Code of Ordinances: Discussion held. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the proposed changes regarding buoy placement to Chapter 11 Boating & Water Regulations in the Code of Ordinances. Motion carried. Holcombe Area Veteran’s Memorial Committee: D. Staudacher gave a report. The committee is working on reorganization; looking over the mission statement; February elections; electric sign and the idea that the town might want to share the cost. Town property on 265th Ave: Discussion held. Set Town Caucus date: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to set the Caucus date to January 9th, 2025 at 7 pm with the board meeting immediately following. Motion carried. Approval of Resolution 2024-5 Resolution of the Town Board to Amend the 2024 Budget. No action. Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Clerk’s Report:Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the Memorandum of Understanding Relating to the Statewide Voter Registration System. Motion carried. Approve Bills: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the bills as presented. Motion carried. Adjourn: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to adjourn the meeting at 8:01 pm. Motion carried.
