Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Lake Holcombe Town Board Meeting Meeting Minutes November 14, 2024 Present: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher. Others Present: Tracey Larson, Jim Mataczynski, Ginna Young, Ben Jordan, Linda Boettcher, Kody Morfoot Call To Order: Meeting called to order by Guthman at 7:00 p.m. Minutes: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the October 10, 2024 and October 24, 2024 minutes as presented. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to accept the treasurers report as presented. Motion carried. Chairman’s Report: Guthman talked about the new satellite fire station, lawn waste site, and the equipment that was sold on Wisconsin Surplus Online Auction. Public Comment: Public spoke about the temporary railing in front of the town hall. Lake Holcombe Improvement Association – New Playground Equipment at Wayside Park: Discussion held. The land belongs to Xcel Energies so they will need to be contacted regarding approval and any contingencies. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to work with the Lake Association to provide new playground equipment at Wayside Park. Motion Carried. Holcombe Area Veteran’s Memorial (HAVM) Committee: D. Staudacher gave an update. Placement of slow, no-wake buoys near Cty Hwy M bridge and State Hwy 27 bridge: Discussion held. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to proceed with placement of the slow, no- wake buoy’s starting with a public hearing before the December board meeting. Motion carried. Approve 2025 Budget and Levy Limit: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the 2025 Budget and Levy Limit. Motion Carried. Clerk’s Report: One building permit was reviewed.
