Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Lake Holcombe Town Board Meeting Meeting Minutes July 11, 2024 Present: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher. Others Present: Tracey Larson, Ginna Young, Ben Jordan, D. Kannenberg, G. Loring, P. Guthman Absent: Jim Mataczynski Call To Order: Meeting called to order by Guthman at 7:00 p.m. Minutes: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the July 11,2024 minutes as presented. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to accept the treasurers report as presented. Motion carried. Chairman’s Report: Guthman talked about the Recycle Round Up, emergency management, and fire and ambulance board meeting. Public Comment: No public comment. Review Proposed Short-Term Vacation Rental Ordinance: Discussion held. D. Kannenberg worked on the proposed draft with Chippewa County Public Health. Sanitary District Update: J. Larson stated that things are looking good. Update on Public Nuisance Issue on 259th Ave: Guthman wrote a warning letter and had him served. Sale of Unused Equipment – Enclosed trailer, equipment trailer, lawn vac, town truck, etc: The request was made to sell unused items on the State website. Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to sell unused equipment on the State website. Motion carried. Discuss contract with garbage / recycling contractors: Discussion held. Town Hall: Landscaping – leveling and filling around the town hall & shops. Request to seek estimates Hand Railing – Discussion held. Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to get bids for the landscaping and to finish the railing with the same as previous railing. Motion carried. Estimates for New Town Truck: Jordan presented estimates for trucks. Discussion held. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the purchase of the 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 HD from Markquart Motors. Motion Carried. Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Estimates for Storm Sewer: Review of estimates from Baughman for $9,800.00 and Laird for $5,775. Discussion held. Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to accept the estimate from Laird for $5,775.00 for the storm sewer. Motion carried. Clerk’s Report: Operator license from East Bay was reviewed. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve the operator license for East Bay. Motion carried. Approve Bills: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to approve the bills as presented. Motion carried. Adjourn: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to adjourn the meeting at 8:13 p.m. Motion carried.
