Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Lake Holcombe Town Board Meeting Meeting Minutes June 13, 2024 Present: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher. Others Present: Tracey Larson, Jim Mataczynski, Ginna Young, Ben Jordan, Jamie Larson Call To Order: Meeting called to order by Guthman at 7:00 p.m. Minutes: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to approve the May 9, 2024 minutes with corrections. Motion carried. Treasurer Report: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to accept the treasurers report as presented. Motion carried. Chairman’s Report: Guthman gave an update about road work, Wayside park raft and vandalism of the park bathrooms, new county Emergency Management, beaver dams and control thereof, and the 4th of July Fireworks. Public Comment: None. Tourist Rooming House / Short-Term Rentals: Discussion held. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to pursue looking into a town ordinance for short-term rentals. Motion carried. Lake Holcombe ATV/UTV Ordinance & Chippewa County ATV/UTV Ordinance: Discussion held. Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to put this ordinance into effect as presented. Motion carried. Sanitary District Update: Discussion held on the shared contract. Status of Veteran’s Memorial as seen by the Town Board: Discussion held. Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to give Mataczynski permission to work with Guthman on an agreement between the Veteran’s Memorial and the Town of Lake Holcombe. Motion carried. Public Nuisance Issue on 259th Ave: Discussion held. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to send a letter in violation of our Public Nuisance Ordinance and have the sheriff deliver it. Motion carried. Minutes prepared by Tracey Larson, Town Clerk Approval of Alcohol and Tobacco License Renewal Applications: Applications were reviewed. Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to approve all alcohol and tobacco license renewal applications and operator licenses applications. Motion carried. Clerk’s Report: Building permits were reviewed. Approve Bills: Motion by Staudacher, seconded by Olson to approve the bills as presented. Motion carried. Adjourn: Motion by Olson, seconded by Staudacher to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
