Town of Lake Holcombe Board Meeting Minutes January 11, 2024 @ Lake Holcombe Town Hall PRESENT: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher, Jim Mataczynski. ABSENT: Tracey Larson CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Chairman Guthman at 7 pm. MINUTES: Motion by Dave, seconded by Doug to approve the minutes from the December 14th meeting. Motion carried. TREASURER REPORT: No report. Tabled until next month. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT / INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: Ben is still working on getting estimates for all of the possible construction projects anticipated for 2024 using the remaining ARPA funds. The 2012 truck broke down and had to get towed to Mid State Truck. Brian reminded the public about the no parking on town streets and snow plowing across roads. He is still working on the Personnel Property tax on mobile home parks. The situation on 274th Ave continues to be a problem. It was noted that there is a resident on 304th Ave that has not requested a building permit from the county or the town. PUBLIC COMMENT: None INFORMATION ON HAAS / GULICH GRAVEL PIT: Discussion held. SANITARY DISTRICT UPDATE: Motion by Dave, seconded by Doug to appoint Jeff Anders and Deidra Wichtendahl to the Sanitary District. Motion carried. Update given on the Notice of Noncompliance from the DNR CLERK’S REPORT: Building permits were reviewed. Motion by Doug, seconded by Dave to approve the operator license applied for by Phat Bob’s. Motion carried. Motion by Doug, seconded by Dave to move into closed session at 7 pm. Motion carried. CLOSED SESSION announced by Chair Employee job performance pursuant to Wi Stats 19.85(1)(c) for considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the government body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility OPEN SESSION Motion by Doug, seconded by Dave to approve the performance raises discussed in closed session. Motion carried. APPROVE BILLS: Motion by Dave, seconded by Doug to approve the bills as presented. Motion carried. ADJOURN: Motion by Doug, seconded by Dave to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
