Town of Lake Holcombe Monthly Board Meeting Minutes May 11, 2023 @ Lake Holcombe Town Hall CALL TO ORDER: Brian Guthman called the meeting to order at 7 pm. ROLL CALL: Brian Guthman, Doug Olson, David Staudacher, Jim Mataczynski, Tracey Larson. PLEDGE APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Approve minutes as presented. D. Staudacher, D. Olson. Motion passed. TREASURER REPORT: Motion to accept report as presented. D. Olson, D. Staudacher. Motion passed. CD #0500 and #0501 are up for renewal. A motion was made to combine the #CD 0501 and #0500 into (one) 22-month CD at 4.3% - D. Olson, D. Staudacher. Motion passed. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT: There is still many areas with water in ditches and/or over roads. The satellite fire station still has not been officially approved by the fire board, but it is still a work in process. PUBLIC COMMENT: No public comment SANITARY DISTRICT UPDATE: The DNR audit report came back and Buck stated there four items that needed to be fixed in the next 30 days. There are 20 items that they would like to see happen but they are not required. Buck, Duane and Jesse will review the report. The phosphate levels have been dropping from 11 down to 7. The DNR would like the sludge level in the pond checked this summer and if it is over 2 ft remove it. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN SURVEY UPDATE: The surveys are printed and will be mailed out tomorrow, May 12 TOWN HALL REPAIRS: Quotes will be gathered for tuck pointing, entry way, and side steps repair/replace. CLERK’S REPORT: Building permits were reviewed for the following properties: 27941 270th Ave and 26694 278th St. Motion was made to approve two operator licenses for Cookies Holcombe Inn – D.
