Town of Lake Holcombe Monthly Board Meeting Minutes (unofficial) December 8, 2022 @ Lake Holcombe Town Hall Chairman Guthman called the meeting to order at 7 pm. Chairman Brian Guthman, Supervisor Doug Olson, Supervisor David Staudacher, Treasurer Jim Mataczynski, Clerk Tracey Larson were in attendance and a quorum was established. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Dave motioned to approve the previous meetings minutes and Doug seconded. Motion carried. Doug motioned to approve the treasurers report and Dave seconded. Motion carried. Jim told the board about the T-bill being offered at SCCU with a 4.3% interest rate for a one- year term. Doug made a motion and Dave seconded to transfer $250,000 from the Highway Expenditures allocation account into a one-year T-bill. Motion carried. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT: Brian addressed the complaints that we have been getting regarding icy roads and stated that the road crew is doing all they can and have already ordered more sand/salt mix than last year. Brian stated that he will attend the WI Towns Association meeting on January 11, 2023, where they will address the ATV/UTV ordinances and hopefully make all towns compliant with the county ordinance for more effective enforcement. PUBLIC COMMENT: No public comment COMPREHENSIVE PLAN RESOLUTION: Brian read the resolution out loud. There were no questions about it. Doug motioned and Dave seconded to approve the Comprehensive Plan Resolution and Public Participation Procedures. Motion carried. BUDGET AMENDMENT RESOLUTION: Tracey presented the amended budget and explained the changes. Dave motioned and Doug seconded to approve the amended 2022 budget. Motion carried. BANK ACCOUNT SIGNERS: Doug motioned, and Dave seconded to have the chairman, clerk, and treasurer as signer on all bank accounts at SCCU and any other bank we join. Motion carries TOWN CAUCUS: The board discussed the date and time for the caucus. Doug motioned and Dave seconded to hold the 2023 Town Caucus on Thursday January 12, 2023, at 7 pm with the board meeting immediately following. Motion carried. CLERK’S REPORT: Nothing to report APPROVE BILLS: Dave motioned to approve the bills as presented and Doug seconded. Motion passed.
