Page/Friede MCU HPC MEMBER VOLUNTEER HOUR REPORT Hoffman 4 Huebel 2 Page 1 Anderson 3 PUBLIC COMMENTS – Non-Agenda Items • Com. Hoffman and Com. Anderson o Showcased an image of the most recent historic talk that they gave and discussed details of the presentation briefly. Hoffman showcased Westside Elementary winning an award for the Kiln project. • Mehlhorn raised the subject of the Foster Cemetery Preservation Plan to the Commission and indicated it would be forthcoming on an agenda. MEETING DISCUSSION ITEMS 1. HP Ordinance Discussion a. Radford brought notes on the ordinance, Mehlhorn indicated in the near future he will take the comments in and write revisions based on them and take that to the commission. 2. Swinging Bridge RF Reader Discussion a. Mehlhorn raised the subject of the forthcoming RF reader to the Commission’s attention. He requested information regarding the bridge. 3. Swinging Bridge Event Coordination a. Commission deliberated the plan for the bridge celebration b. Friede / Huebel to authorize up to $600 for the event from the HPC budget, MCU 4. NRHP Sign Proof a. Mehlhorn showcased the sign proof, the Commission accepted and it was put to order. 5. Fire Department Displays a. The commission briefly discussed potential displays. 6. Historic Interpretive Sign Plan and Kiosks a. Table to may Page/Friede MCU – Huebel asked for a list of all of the Kiosks in river falls 7. City Hall Art Display a. Talked about both city hall and library display items, came up with a plan for future exhibits.
