8. New Business
a) Staffing Updates
July 9
th there are interviews set up for a case manager. K. Deprey will take on the
role of CM until we can get a new hire in place. Asked that only one client a month
be added until new CM is hired.
A new SUD counselor will be starting next month. Looking into possibly contracting
another SUD counselor.
b) Program Updates
TAD pre-application has been submitted. Asking for same amount of money as last
year. Should hear something by the end of July.
Discussed legal updates regarding due process. Reached out to other counties and
Judge’s regarding this but there was no consensus. All counties are still in the
process of learning regarding the program since there are no Federal mandates.
These minutes have not been reviewed by the oversig ht board and are subject to approval or
revision at the regular meeting.
Felt it would be good to do the due process with the plea hearing and sanctions
right away so as not to hold up the process.
Discussed language in the handbook/application forms and committee will continue
to meet on Monday’s starting July 13 th .
Two groups will be started in early September. The groups will be open to
Treatment Court clients and also non-Treatment Court clients.
Also, working on getting a Recovery app 24/7 so clients who need to talk with
someone, no matter what time of day or night, they would have peer support.
9. Matters to be Placed on a Future Agenda or Referred to a Committee, Official or Employee
