Call to order 6:15 2. Approve Agenda, Motion by Thad , seconded by to approve the agenda. 4. Approve February Minutes, Motion by Steve , seconded by Dawn to approve the minutes of March 25th, 2026. 5. Liaison Report – Walter Kalms – new Fair Liaison 6. Financial Report – up $30K, $10k is from sponsors so far, initial Square membership fees paid for. motion to approve financial report Thad, second Dawn 7. 2026 Fair A. Tech/Ticketing – Square – if Customer chooses shipping, they will be charged $2.00 for order. PreSale ticket pricing $27 per weekly pass – (3.3% + .30 fee for CC), Suggesting Mid May to go live with PreSales. (Motion – Aaron, Second – Thad) Cutoff date for Pre-sale – Sat July 26th at Midnight (Motion – Steve, Second – Dawn) Regular ticket prices (after presale ends) - $30.00 season, $12.00 Daily August 1st/8th – Pick up Tickets at Fair office 9am-12pm (tickets purchased online) Public can also come to buy tickets in person at Fair office on May 13th and May 16th (Entry Help Days). Fair Office computers are being replaced by county. Connect front computer to printer in Secretary office. Tickets 3000 Season passes, 1500 daily passes – season tickets have space for daily punches. 4H clubs presale tickets – Discontinue. Find other way to donate $ to clubs. B. Events/Contracts – All Contracts in place Still working on (Special Guest) Musical Entertainer Moving Dominguez to where Dock Dogs were on Midway, Jurassic will be where kids rides were in prior years, Not having latest Sunday Duck/Pig racing show (6pm) too late Need County permit for Catch tank for bunk house (carnival workers), need engineer to draw a plan and licensed plumber to sign off to install tank. C. Marketing – All tickets printed and received, Need to set final date for sponsors for rack cards and brochures. Kwik Trip has sent check, need to order banners for Back Entry gate. Hotel Rooms – Aaron will start on this. D. Sponsorships – Kwik Trip, Northland Steel, Fincantieri, Door County Custom Creations, Current Sponsorships - $14,700 E. Vendor Reach out to Gnoshery for game area? Possible indoor Vendor areas in Open class building 3 Non-Profit Groups: Big Brothers/Big Sisters Miniature Pony Rides – How to charge? Give us % per sales each day, or flat fee? 30’x30’ footprint – Charge them regular footage rate F. Other – Holly LaPlante, Farm Bureau: 8’x16’ Corn Pit, “shake off zone”, carpet remnant, brooms for kids to clean up, Ruth Wilke – Welcome, new intern for 2026 1. Polos – 2 for Ruth, send out email to all fair board members 2. Shavings – we have 2 pallets of shavings, we will be getting 2 more from Tractor Supply, get price off TS website (Value) 3. Secretary To Do list – One interview (not a prospect). This will be Lexis last fair as support Secretary. 4. Ribbons - $3,000 5. Lavine’s Pizza – Camper behind pizza Truck? 8.
