Call to Order & Roll Call 6 President Nate Bell called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. 7 8 Present: President Nate Bell, Lousie Howson, Brigid White, Terry Kelly, Steve Bacsi, Skip Heidler. 9 Patrice Champeau was excused. 10 11 Staff: Administrator Benjamin Andrews, Village Clerk Julie Thyssen, Village Attorney Randy Nesbitt, 12 League of Wisconsin Municipalities Remzy Bitar 13 14 2. Approve Agenda 15 Motion to approve the agenda was made by Bell and seconded by Howson. Motion carried – all ayes. 16 17 3. Executive Session 18 a) Wisc. Stats. 19.85(1)(g) — 19 Motion to convene into Executive Session Wisc. Stats. 19.85(1)(g) to confer with legal counsel for the 20 governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning a strategy to be adopted by 21 the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. i. Clinton v. Village of 22 Sister Bay ii. PSC Rate Case Hearing. Roll call vote– all ayes. 23 24 b) Motion to Reconvene into Open Session 25 Motion to reconvene into open session was made by Kelly and seconded by Heidler. Roll call vote– all 26 ayes. 27 28 c. Motion for Action, if Appropriate 29 Motion was made by Kelly and seconded by Howson to proceed to appeal the Clinton v. Village of 30 Sister Bay to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Motion carried – all ayes. 31 32 13. Adjourn 33 Motion to adjourn at 11:27 p.m. was made by Heidler, seconded by Bacsi.
