Special Board of Supervisors’ Meeting - Closed session — Agenda

TOWN OF SEVASTOPOL BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SPECIAL MEETING Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 – 6:00 p.m. Sevastopol Town Hall 4528 State Highway 57, Sturgeon Bay WI 54235 Call to Order. The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Dan Woelfel at 6:00 p.m. Establish Quorum & Adopt Agenda. A quorum was established with the following Board members present: Chairman Dan Woelfel, Supervisor Mark Haen, Supervisor Jeanne Vogel, Supervisor Stacie Denil and Supervisor Linda Wait. Also present: Clerk/Treasurer Amy Flok Convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 19.85(1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility: consideration of health insurance for Clerk/Treasurer. Motion by Haen and second by Wait to enter into closed session. Roll call vote: Woelfel – aye, Vogel – aye, Haen – aye, Denil – aye, Wait – aye. Motion carried unanimously and the Board adjourned into closed session at 6:23 p.m. At this time Clerk/Treasurer was asked to excuse herself for this portion of the discussion. Convene and return to Open Session. Motion by Haen and second by Wait to return to open session. Roll call vote: Woelfel – aye, Vogel – aye, Haen – aye, Denil- aye, Wait – aye. Motion carried unanimously and the Board returned into open session at 6:47 p.m., at which time, Amy Flok returned to the meeting. Formal action upon the preceding subject of the closed session, if appropriate. Following discussion in closed session, it was the consensus of the Town Board to offer the Clerk/Treasurer health insurance with the Wisconsin Retirement System. Convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 19.85(1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility: employment matters and employment data involving individual EMRs, and possible. dismissal of individual EMRs. No evidentiary hearing or final action on dismissal will be considered. Motion by Linda and second by Jeanne to convene into closed session. Roll call vote: Woelfel – aye, Vogel – aye, Haen – aye, Denil- aye, Wait – aye. Motion carried and the Board adjourned into closed session at 6:51 p.m. Convene and return to Open Session. Motion by Haen and second by Wait to return to open session. Roll call vote: Woelfel – aye, Vogel – aye, Haen – aye, Denil- aye, Wait – aye. Motion carried unanimously and the Board returned into open session at 8:05 p.m. Formal action upon the preceding subject of the closed session, if appropriate. No formal action taken. Adjourn.
