MOU with Sevastopol School – Memorandum of Understanding – Town Park Use. Brooke Tanck 25
started the conversation regarding the MOU. The school did not investigate the removal of trees as 26
they don’t think the DNR will let them remove them. They are looking at purchasing a new 27
temporary fence for the softball field. At the end of August, the field dressing went on by the Town. 28
The school would like more material in the bull pen yet this fall. Mark stated that we still are going 29
to get the remainder of the top dressing down on the fields. On the MOU timeline, the issue of left 30
center on the baseball field, needs to be addressed. Mark stated the drainage wasn’t terrible and 31
believes the core aerating plays a huge role in that. The school would not have funding to do any 32
projects in 2027, so this would have to move to the summer of 2028, as we would cost share it with 33
them. Dan suggested asking the County Highway Department to come out and determine where 34
the low spots are and fill them in. Brooke stated that lights always seem to be an ongoing issue. 35
There are 4 total lights out on both the baseball and softball field. We will call Stauber and get 36
those fixed. We are working on getting the plans together for the inside of the concession stand in 37
hopes to be ready for 2027 season. Brooke stated that they will have more dates as the double 38
headers will be going away. Brooke would like to see more material down in the batting cages. 39
