The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Dan Woelfel at 5:30 p.m. Roll Call to Establish Quorum. In addition to Woelfel, the following were in attendance and constitute a quorum: Supervisor Haen, Supervisor Denil, Supervisor Wait, and Supervisor Vogel. Also in attendance: Amy M. Flok – Clerk/Treasure and Connie Judd Adopt Agenda/Proper Notice. Motion by Vogel and second by Denil to approve the agenda upon proper notice. Motion carried. Town’s Celebration of America’s 250 th Anniversary. The Town of Sevastopol was given $5,800 to have a celebration for America’s 250th Anniversary. Vogel stated that Homecoming for Sevastopol School is September 18th and 19th, so we will avoid those dates. Looking at the calendars, the Board decided to schedule it for October 3rd. We will be using a 40x80 with 6 sides and chairs; initially the Board decided on 250 chairs but later decided that 100 chairs would be sufficient. We will have two bounce houses which will cost $600. Ice cream from the Ding-A-Ling truck with sprinkles and chocolate sauce will roughly cost $625. We will get 400 hot dogs from Welsings with buns and condiments. Welsings offered to donate the hot dogs. For drinks we will offer root beer, a white soda and bottled water. We will offer popcorn since the Town owns the popcorn maker in the concession stand. We will check to see if Walmart will donate some water, soda, or both. We are budgeting $250 for drinks if we cannot get donations. There will be a tent rental, bounce house rental, Ding-A-Ling (Ice cream) rental, buns and condiment purchase, beverage purchase (provided we don’t receive any donations, popcorn, butter and paper bag purchase, and plates, napkins and cups purchase. We plan use the jumbotron/screen for the cost of $2,000. We will advertise on the digital sign, the large sign by Culvers, and we will get a large banner from FLS. Haen will reach out to the Veterans to do a presentation and follow up with the Jumbotron. Haen is reaching out to the Tonya Hasenjager to see if the Sevastopol School Jazz Band will play for the event. Adjourn. Motion by Denil and second by Haen to adjourn. Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Amy M. Flok Draft 8/11/2026
