Sevastopol EMR Agency 4528 State Highway 57, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 EMR Agency Mee+ng - Minutes Wednesday, June 3, 2026 @ 7:00 PM Sevastopol Town Hall Minutes 1.Call to Order - Mee+ng was called to order at 1902 hours. 2.Establish Quorum - In aQendance: Ashley Staats, Grant Estes, Jus+n MacDonald, Sevastopol Town Board Representa+ve; Stacie Denil. Mee+ng Quorum not met. Agenda will be overviewed with no official votes. 3.Adopt Agenda - Agenda is accepted as presented. 4.Approval of Minutes - No minutes to approve due to no quorum. 5.New Business a. Introduc+on of new Town Representa+ve - Stacie Denil 1. survey - Stacy is present at the mee+ng with discussion at this +me. b. Recruitment - Two individuals have reached out with interest in the Sevastopol EMR Agency. One individual is on Bay Shore Dr. (Near the city limits). Recently completed EMT-B and is awai+ng na+onal registry to become licensed. Second individual is a current full-+me paramedic with Door County EMS. She has relocated to the Sevastopol area from Appleton and would like to become an EMR. Awai+ng applica+ons from both. c. Call Review - 98 Calls to date. 16 with no EMR response. 84% response from EMRs. A few calls ahead of 2025 at this +me. d. Chief360 vs Ac+ve 911 - Ac+ve 911 will no longer be u+lized by Door County and the Door County Dispatch Center as of January 1, 2027. The Fire Chiefs have made the decision to transi+on to “Chief360.” Ashley aQended a demo presenta+on by “Chief360” however presenta+on was not informa+ve besides the informa+on that had previously been provided. Ashley is scheduling a mee+ng with “Chief360” Support for addi+onal informa+on and pricing. Hands on training nights - The execu+ve board would like to bring more hands on training to the agency. A request was made for rescue training at Cave Point County Park with Jacksonport Fire Department. Grant will check on availability of Jacksonport for the August mee+ng night. f. Inventory / personal inventory expira+ons - The EMR CommiQee is looking to create a “minimum inventory” checklist for the supply closest as well as members personal EMR bags. Members will be responsible for checking their own equipment and expira+ons. Also implemen+ng monthly AED Checks of individual issued AEDs. “Check Tags” have been ordered and will be distributed to members. 6. Old Business a. Equipment and Supplies - Life Jackets for members who respond and work near the water at Cave Point or other water rescue type calls. Will be choosing life jacket at reques+ng purchase. Supply closet has been cleaned out and old or obsolete inventory has been disposed of. b. grant funds - traffic wands, other member ideas or requests - Nite Beam traffic wands for traffic control. Co monitors for EMR bags (member safety). Discussion of fire ex+nguishers for personal vehicles. EMRs have responded to several calls involving fire in the past few weeks where the EMRs are the first arriving on scene. Law enforcement also carries ex+nguishers but EMRs are ojen arriving on scene first. This would be for small or outside fires only. Would require member training for anyone not associated with a fire department. Stacie will check into the legality and if this is aloud for EMRs. CommiQee Update - Stacie touches base on organizing supplies, AED checks, and AED yearly service. Ashley will check with DCEMS and physio control for service. d. Safety - High amounts of traffic in the county, use vehicles as protec+on on roadways and be alert. Be sure to wear reflec+ve vests on roadways. e. Jacket LeQering going to FLS - Grant is taking jackets to FLS and will check on turn around +me. f. Wisconsin State License Renewal Due June 30 - Most members have renewed. Reminder to the remainder of members to renew license before the end of the month. 7.Open Session - Nothing at this +me. 8. Schedule Next Mee+ng - No July mee+ng due to member schedules. Next mee+ng will be August 5th at 7pm. Loca+on to be determined depending on Jacksonport’s availability to train. 9. Adjourn - Mee+ng adjourn at 1929 hours.
