Sevastopol Athletic Committee – Review Memorandum of Understanding for Town Facility 31
Use. Mark and Ryan met with Brooke Tanck (Sevastopol Athletic Director) and Randy Ryskoski 32
(Sevastopol Superintendent) to go over the MOU prior to tonight. Brooke thanked the Park and 33
Recreation committee for the new bathrooms. The Mighty Pioneer Youth Tournament was smaller 34
this year but still happened. There are a few improvements from the school’s side they would like to 35
see. They are hoping the Town will work on short-term and long-term plans to work on left center 36
field on the baseball field. The water continues to pool up in the area. Brooke believes the outfield 37
is unlevel. Brooke thinks bringing the fences in. The lights on the baseball field have been a 38
continued issue. The Packerland Conference will be moving to an all-double header, which means 39
they will us the lights more. The school would like to see core aerating and possibly top dressing 40
the field. They would also like different storage for the tires they use on the tarps. Mark will be 41

addressing the lights that are out to see what else is wrong. The Committee will think of a solution 1
to the tires for the tarps; possibly making a cart to stack and push them down the baseline. We will 2
investigate bringing in the fence on the baseball field. If we bring in the fence it might help with the 3
drainage issues in left center field. Dan stated there needs to be some work on the dug outs. We 4
already have Stickbuilt Builders working on the exterior of the concession stand. Brooke will update 5
the MOU and the email to Mark and Ryan, and they will adjust. This item will be brought back for 6
review. 7
8
Enhanced Wake Boarding/Wake Boats on Clark Lake. Gary stated the more informed he is 9
getting, the more actual damage he believes is being done to Clark Lake. The legislature hasn’t 10
done anything about this issue, and it doesn’t look like they will in the near future. Mark is 11
concerned about the lawsuit that is going on in the Town of Scott. Trent wants to know if we make a 12
rule without DNR support, do we put ourselves in jeopardy of a lawsuit. Motion by Dan and second 13
by Ryan to make a recommendation to restrict wake boating on Clark Lake. 4-aye to 2- nay. Motion 14
carried. 15
16
Interior Construction on Concession Stand. Mark, Jack and Robert Haen went over to the 17
concession stand and took the compression off the big cooler. They took the shelves out of the 18
cooler, but the cooler itself is still in there. Mark will take the cooler out piece by piece and possibly 19
get Hayes to come take the metal. Mark will reach out to Jeff Isackson to draw up some plans for 20
the interior. 21
