Town Board — Minutes

EMR Committee Meeting Tuesday, March 25, 2025, 6:30 PM 4528 State Highway 57, (Institute), Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 Minutes Call to Order. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Trent Olsen at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call to Establish Quorum. In addition to Trent, EMR Crew Chief Ashley Staats was in attendance which constituted a quorum. Other Attendees. Other attendee at the meeting was Whitney Bittorf, Assistant EMR Crew Chief and EMR Secretary Agenda Notice. The agenda was identified as properly noticed, and was adopted by unanimous vote. Prior Meeting Minutes. Minutes from the February 24, 2025 EMR Committee meeting were reviewed and unanimously approved. Pending Business. Ashley Staats presented year to date EMR call statistics. Through March 25, 2025, 56 calls were paged to the EMR Agency, and 41 were responded to. Most calls were daytime hours when most EMR’s at working at their full time jobs. One new EMR, Grant Estes, has responded to almost 30 calls so far this year and is proving to be valued addition to the EMR Agency. Two new member applications have been turned in to the EMR Chief. These are Scott Wieland and Kaitlyn Bamer. With these additions, a new radio would be needed, which will be purchased using the EMR budget for supplies. New Business. The proposed agenda for the EMR Agency meeting for April 2, 2025 was presented and reviewed. 2024 statistics for EMR response were reviewed for the Annual Meeting. Supervisor Olsen will request building security code access for the EMR Chief as she currently does not have the ability to restock EMR supplies outside of normal office hours. Agenda Items for Next Meeting / Meeting Date The next meeting date will be April 29, 2025, 6:30pm. On the agenda will be a review of the Agency meeting, updates on EMR statistics so far in 2025, and a review of any requested changes to the EMR bylaws from the regular supervisor meeting on April 21, 2025. Adjourn. Ashley made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Trent. Motion carried and meeting was adjourned at 7:15 pm. Whitney Bittorf
