TOWN OF EGG HARBOR NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 20-YEAR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE July 18, 2024 PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town of Egg Harbor Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed adoption of the Town of Egg Harbor Comprehensive Plan. The Public Hearing will be held as part of the Town of Egg Harbor Plan Commission meeting on July 18, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Egg Harbor Town Hall, 5242 County Hwy I, Door County, WI. The Town of Egg Harbor Plan Commission may act following the Public Hearing on the proposed adoption of the Town of Egg Harbor Comprehensive Plan. ALSO TAKE NOTICE THAT an Open House informational meeting will precede the abovementioned Public Hearing from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Egg Harbor Town Hall. The Open House is an additional opportunity for town residents and other interested individuals to review and ask questions about the town’s comprehensive plan. The proposed Comprehensive Plan update contains revised inventory and analysis of the town's physical setting, demographics, housing, community facilities, transportation facilities, and land uses. With assistance from the Bay -Lake Regional Plan Commission, the Town of Egg Harbor developed the proposed Comprehensive Plan update that describes how the Town of Egg Harbor envisions its development and preservation of land in the town during the next 20 years. The proposed plan includes goals and actions as well as land use recommendations depicted on a 20-Year Land Use Plan map. Copies of the proposed Town of Egg Harbor Comprehensive Plan are available for review at the following locations: • Egg Harbor Town Hall (during office hours), 5242 County Hwy I, Door County , WI; and • The proposed Town of Egg Harbor comprehensive plan update is also available online at the following website: https://baylakerpc.org/about/surveys Written comments on the proposed Comprehensive Plan update should be submitted to the Town of Egg Harbor at the Town Hall or email to; brobinson@baylakerpc.org before July 18, 20 24.
