October 2025 Town Meeting Minutes

October 21, 2025 Town of Luxemburg Meeting was called to order by Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Matt Haen, Leonard Wachal, Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Kim Bosman Community Present: None Public Comments: None Approval of the September meeting minutes. Leonard moved with a second by Matt to approve. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 nays Reports: ---Treasurer Jerry Zellner stated that as of September 31, 2025 the town has a checking balance of $71,105.19 and the CD of $199,742.99 for a total of $270,848.18. November 6th the CD comes due and will renew for 6 months. ----Zoning Administrator Edith Lauscher reported receipts; $400.00 Joshua Watruba-Rezone Hearing; $400.00 Nicholas Colle-Rezone Hearing. Total = $800.00 Old Business: Road signs have been installed. Still need to clean the Town Hall gutters and wall. New Business: Fire/Rescue Update: Linda received the budget from Fire/Rescue. Grass Cutting: Jerry has been cutting the grass. Budget Workshop October 23 at 6:00. LRIP Update: Linda finished the paperwork and has a meeting November 5 th with the County Highway Department for approval. Also discussed possibly applying for future supplemental financing. Meeting dates: November 5: Budget Public View/Hearing 3:00PM November 25: Monthly Meeting/Adopt Budget December 23; Monthly Meeting Motion to approve the monthly bills: Leonard Wachal moved with a second by Matt Haen to approve.
