July 23, 2025 Town of LuxemburgMeeting was called to order by Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM.The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Matt Haen, Leonard Wachal (excused), Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Kim BosmanCommunity Present: NonePublic Comments: NoneApproval of the June meeting minutes and Mountain View Planning Commission Meeting Minutes. Matt moved with a second by Linda to approve. Motion carried. 1 ayes, 0 naysReports:---Treasurer Jerry Zellner stated that as of May 30, 2025 the town has a checking balance of $102,518.03, ARPA is $45,847.87, and the CD of $197,709.34 for a total of $346,075.24. ----Zoning Administrator Edith Lauscher reported receipts; $109.00 Jason Rollin-Addition to shed; $75.00 Derek Schults-Shed; $75.00 Jerry Miesler-Addition to garage. Total = $259.00 Old Business:Linda did discuss with Kewaunee County Highway Department the new pricing structure with reduced cost for snow plowing and increased maintenance dollars during the summer months. The summer maintenance will not need to be guaranteed but should be a 3 year average. Approval to sign contract: Matt moved with a second by Linda to approve. Motion carried. 1 aye, 0 nays New Business:Scott Construction, due to weather delays, will be starting their construction the 2nd or 3rd week of August.Lowell Road Culvert was completed on the 22nd of July.County Clean Sweep will be held on September 6th at the Fairgrounds and flyer has been posted at the Town Hall. Next monthly meeting is Wednesday, August 27th.Motion to approve the monthly bills: Matt moved with a second by Linda to approve.
