July 24, 2024 Town of LuxemburgMeeting was called to order by Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM.The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal, Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda DaulCommunity Present: Doak BakerPublic Comments: Approval of the June Meeting Minutes: Ken moved with a second by Leonard to approve. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 naysReports:Treasurer Jerry Zellner stated that as of June 30, 2024 the town has a checking balance of $118,470.73, ARPA is $77,543.10, and a CD of $189,302.93 for a total of $385,316.76. We received checks from the State of WI for Transportation Aid=$39,308.08, Exempt Computer Aid=$15.59 and Shared Revenue of $14,244.83. Our CD is coming due. Board agreed to renew for 13 months. Zoning Administrator Edith Lauscher reported she received $175 from Nick Roberts for a building permit which is ½ payment. Linda Jonet spoke to him and he will send another check and if not, it will appear on his taxes. Also received from Dean Ullmann $200 for sign permit, and building permits from Dan Estel for a garage of $75 and $75 from Doak Baker for Solar Panels. New Business:The 1st grass cutting is completed.Rendezvous Road is done.Scott Construction is finished with Navarino Lane, Sunset Rd, Heritage Rd and Rojan Court.Next monthly meeting is Wednesday, August 24th.Motion to approve the monthly bills: Leonard moved with a second by Ken to approve.
