February 22, 2023 Town of Luxemburg Meeting- was postponed until the 24th due to weather - AMENDED 3/22/23 Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman Linda Jonet at 1:10 PM The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal, Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda Daul Community Members: Melissa Rollins, Jason Rollins, Bob Berger, Gary Daul Public Comments: Order of Business: Approval of the January Monthly Meeting Minutes - motion made by Leonard Wachal, 2nd by Ken Dart to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: As of 1/31/23 - $653,715.76 in checking, $179,881.16 in one Money Market and $77,368.43 in another Money Market. 2 uncashed checks were placed back in the checkbook in the amount of $166.25. Zoning Report: Edith Lauscher reported Judy Theys is looking for a variance for a shed, David Jauquet is looking into buying land from Randy Stahl, and Jason Rollins is looking to build a shed on his 2.68 parcel. Mike Koener is looking for reassessment of land on Hwy 54 which should have been done before. Bob Berger brought paperwork for rezoning of Parcel 2101213.123 from A2-R1 as this is what it should have been for a long time and was never fixed. Motion made by Ken Dart to correct this, 2nd by Leonard Wachal to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. New Business: Motion to approve monthly bills made by Ken Dart, 2nd by Leonard Wachal to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Next monthly meeting is Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
