2023 Annual Meeting Minutes

April 18, 2023 Town of Luxemburg Annual Meeting Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM by the Town Chairman Linda Jonet Pledge of Allegiance recited and the Board members present: Leonard Wachal, Ken Dart, Gerald Zellner, Glenda Daul Guests: Jim Reckelberg, Jerry Bertrand, Alan Tuttle Approval of the 4/19/2022 meeting minutes made back in May 2022 2024 Annual Meeting set for April 16, 2024 2022 Annual Report reviewed/discussed by Linda Jonet. Jerry Bertrand asked about the new bridge on Church Rd and who paid for it. The town has since the driver had no insurance. This is still being pursued. Town Depository will remain at Nicolet Bank and the CD/Money Market at Fox Communities. Motion made by Gerald Zellner and 2nd by Ken Dart. 2 ayes and O nays. Motion carried. Motion for town meetings to remain starting at 7PM made by Linda Jonet and second by Leonard Wachal. 2 ayes and 1 nay by Jim Reckelberg. Motion carried. Compensation: Chair - $7k/yr, Clerk - $12k/yr, *Treasurer - $5,950/yr, *Each Supervisor - $3,300/yr, *Zoning Administrator - $3,500/yr, Zoning Board Members - $40/mtg, Election Workers - $12/hr, Out of Town Meetings: ½ day -$40 & full day $80, Mileage = $0.50/mile. *These positions will get additional $500 in 2024. There has been a lot of burning in the township. People need to get a burning permit which doesn’t cost anything. Need to contact Linda Jonet for the permit and also call the non- emergency number for the sheriff to inform of the burning, We will be chip sealing 3 roads. The State Road Aid will allow us to fix Rendezvous Rd from the bridge to County K. Motion to adjourn at 7:30 by Jerry Bertrand, 2nd by Ken Dart. Glenda Daul Town of Luxemburg Clerk
