September 2023 Town Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, September 27, 2023 Town of Luxemburg Meeting was called to order by Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal, Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda Daul Community Present: Public Comments: Approval of the August Meeting Minutes: Leonard moved with a second by Ken to approve. Motion carried, 2 ayes, 0 nays Reports: Treasurer Jerry Zellner stated that as of August 31, 2023 the town has a checking balance of $95,672.05, ARPA $77,698.62, and a CD of $180,681.08 for a total of $354,056.75. Zoning Administrator Edith Lauscher reported: David Jauquet, $520.00 building permit and Scott Weidner, $75.00 building permit. New Business: Grass Cutting has begun. The Annual Luxemburg-Casco School Board Meeting will be held October 23rd. 2024 LRIP will be used for Rendezvous Road. The Town Land will be rented by Eberts for next year. They are taking over the 2 years left on the Stahl Brothers contract. 2024 Budget meeting will be October 17 th with no public input.
