December 27, 2023 Town of LuxemburgMeeting was called to order by Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM.The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal, Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda DaulCommunity Present: Public Comments: Approval of the November Meeting Minutes and the November Planning Commission Minutes: Ken moved with a second by Leonard to approve. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 naysReports:Treasurer Jerry Zellner stated that as of November 30, 2023 the town has a checking balance of $114,625.77, ARPA $77,894.63, and a CD of $180,681.08 for a total of $373,201.48. Zoning Administrator Edith Lauscher reported there was nothing new but there was a discussion on non-conforming culverts. Previously 3 landowners were notified their new culverts were not meeting state standards. It was decided that they need to be changed no later than June 1st, 2024 or fines will be applied.New Business:Dan Rank wishes to annex back to the Town of Luxemburg. Dan will have to have a zoning meeting to rezone his land. Motion to approve the annexation with required zoning meeting: Leonard moved with a second by Ken to approve. Motion carried. 2 ayes, 0 naysThe Fire/Rescue annual bill is $75,116.74 which will be paid this year.The roads were plowed & sanded on November 27 & 28 and plowed on December 4 in the amount of $11,799.98.Next meeting is Wednesday, January 24th.Elections workers were submitted by Glenda. They are George Stahl, Muriel Seidl, Janet Balza, Amanda Nimmer, Sarah Wallace, Lynn Zellner, Lois VanDrisse, Linda Jonet, Lyle Zellner, Carolyn Zimmer, and Nellie DeBaker.
