January 26, 2022 January 2022 Town of Luxemburg Meeting Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal (excused), Jerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda Daul Guest: Dave Hoffman, Carolyn Seidl, Jack Seidl, Andrew Engebose, Tanya Mionecki and Dakota Mionecki Order of Business: Jeff Wisnicky is running for Kewaunee County Judge and spoke of his qualifications for the job. Dave Hoffman inquired into the Zimmer subdivision and building on a parcel of land. The Scouts were here to earn a merit badge. Approval of the December Monthly Meeting notes - motion made by Ken Dart, 2nd by Linda Jonet to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: As of 12/31/21 - $4,053.45 in checking, $178,324.73 in one Money Market and $59,606.82 in another Money Market. Zoning Report: Edith Lauscher stated there have been inquiries made by Richard Hallan, Jason Rollins, Jennifer Koenig and Dan Rank. Baudhuin Backwood Bovines received a fire number. New Business: District Meeting for Board of Review certification will be April 2, 2022 in Manitowoc. Tracey Nollenberg will be at the next meeting at 6:50 regarding Emergency Management. County Town Meeting will be at JW in Slovan on February 21, 2022 sponsored by Casco. 3 parcels of land in the town will remain islands and not be annexed to the Village. We have 12.5 acres of land for rent for the next 3 year. Sealed bids need to be received by 5PM on 2/15/2022. Our annual meeting will be held on April 19, 2022.
