December 22, 2021 December 2021 Town of Luxemburg Meeting Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal, Gerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda Daul Guest:Brian Peot Order of Business: Brain Peot brought in the request for Kurt Heim’s 20 acres parcel on County A to be split into 4.99 acres and 15.01 acres. This was approved by the Town Board and signed. Approval of the November 23rd Zoning & Monthly Meeting notes - motion made by Leonard Wachal, 2nd by Ken Dart to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: As of 11/30/21 - $106,985.67 in checking, $178,145.06 in one Money Market and $59,556.82 in another Money Market. Zoning Report: Edith Lauscher stated there have been no inquiries. New Business: Winter roads will be addressed with sand first then salt if necessary. The five main roads that will be addressed first for plowing are: Valley Road, River Road, Luxemburg Road, Rendezvous Road and Mountain View Dairy. We will pay the 2022 Luxemburg Fire/Rescue dues of $80,681.42 this month. ARPA funding uses are continuing to be reviewed as more legislation is made known. The WTA meeting for Board of Review Certification will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 in Kimberly. The Luxemburg Fire Dept,. Fire Truck #901 has a leaking valve. It will cost $5,500 to replace the valve and another $1,250 for plumbing. SAS employees will be parking along the chain link fence as the remodeling is being done to their shop. Received notification of the 2022 General Transportation Aid in the amount of $154,506.63. Motion to approve monthly bills made by Ken Dart, 2nd by Leonard Wachal. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried.
