November 23, 2021 November 2021 Town of Luxemburg Meeting Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:08 PM The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart (excused), Lenny Wachal, Gerry Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda Daul Guest: Mike Peot, Jim Reckelberg, Craig & Kari Barrett Order of Business: Jim Reckelberg questioned the grass cutting process. Linda Jonet explained the process. Approval of the October 26th Meeting - motion made by Lenny Wachal, 2nd by Linda Jonet to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: As of 10/31/21 - $78,388.68 in checking, $178,145.06 in one Money Market and $77,286.02 in another Money Market. Zoning Report: Edith has sent the building permits to the accessor. We have received questions concerning the Aultman property. New Business: Motion to approve 2021 Town Levy made by Lenny Wachal, 2nd by Linda Jonet. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. Motion to approve 2022 Budget made by Lenny Wachal, 2nd by Linda Jonet. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. The following people have agreed to be election workers from January 1,2022 to December 31, 2023: George Stahl - Chief Inspector, Amanda Nimmer - Chief Inspector, Muriel Seidl, Sarah Wallace, Janet Balza, Lynn Zellner, Linda Jonet, Glenda Daul. Motion to approve the election workers made by Lenny Wachal, 2nd by Linda Jonet. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. We have been approved for $15k in July 2022 for the LRIP program. Next week there is an ARPA meeting online. Scott Construction has stated that there is a 75% oil increase for chip sealing next year. The next Town Board monthly meeting will be on Tuesday, December 22nd. Motion to approve monthly bills made by Lenny Wachal, 2nd by Linda Jonet. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried.
