September 22, 2021 September 2021 Town of Luxemburg Meeting Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal, Gerald Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda Daul Guest: David Zellner Order of Business: Approval of the August 2021 meeting and September Planning Commission Meeting - motion made by Leonard Wachal, 2nd by Ken Dart to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: As of 8/31/21 - $149,003.03 in checking, $177,965.57 in one Money Market and $77,245.39 in another Money Market. Zoning Report: Edith issued building permits in the amount of $2,090 for the following projects: Glen Stahl - Grain Bin Paul Wery - Butcher Shop Robert Wallace - Deck Judy Vandenhouten - Garage Kevin Pilgrim - Shed Matt Haen - Deck & Roof Kelly VanFranchen - Home Old Business: The Board looked into Brad Smeester’s vehicles that are in David Zellner’s path. They are not on the town road so there is nothing we can do. New Business: $115,073.70 has been spent in road repairs this year on Lowell Road, Nachurs Way, Walhain Rd, River Road and the Valley Road Bridge. Reviewed Zoning samples from Brandon. Meeting will be set up in October to finalize with him. 2nd Grass cutting has been completed. Trees on the corner of Luxemburg/Rendezvous Road have been trimmed and look good. There is a School Board meeting at 7 PM on October 4th. Kewaunee Clean Sweep is on Saturday, October 30th at the County Shop. Need to call and make a reservation.
