August 24, 2021 August 2021 Town of Luxemburg Meeting Meeting called to order by the Town Chairman Linda Jonet at 7:00 PM The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: Linda Jonet, Ken Dart, Leonard Wachal, Gerald Zellner, Edith Lauscher, Glenda Daul Guest: Dave Zellner Order of Business: Dave Zellner asked the Board to address with Brad Smeester the vehicles in the back of his home which consists of 5 cars and 2 trucks. Ordinance allows only 3 licensed vehicles. The Board will look into this. Approval of the July 2021 meeting - motion made by Leonard Wachal, 2nd by Ken Dart to approve. 2 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: As of 7/31/21 - $149,362.78 in checking, $177,9656.57 in one Money Market and $77,245.39 in another Money Market. Zoning Report: People seeking possible building permits: Kevin Pilgrim for a building and Kevin Wery for a garage. Paul Wery still has not received approval from the State for building. Jared Massey will be notified about trees hampering view on Luxemburg Road by letter. Trim the trees or the Town will do it at the owner's expense. NOTE: If anyone calls a Board Member, please leave a phone number to call back. Old Business: Valley Bridge work is completed. New Business: All-Hazardness Preparedness Program will be November 10 at the Fairgrounds. 9/21/21 is the 2021 Fall Workshop at The Marc. School Municipalities meeting is September 15 at 6:00 PM. Chip sealing is done except on Nachurs Way. That will be completed this Friday or next week. Brooke Bredael got a fireworks permit for Saturday, August 28. Dick Ciha would like something done to the road on Birchwood as water sits in his driveway. We will have Brandon Robinson do our 10 year update to the Zoning laws, Chapter 10. LRIP 2022 - we will be allowed money and will look into fixing the bridge on North Valley Road. Motion to approve monthly bills made by Ken Dart, 2nd by Leonard Wachal. 2 ayes, 0 nayes.
