March 19th Special Meeting

March 19, 2018 At 5:30 pm, Supervisor Gayle Ashbery called to order a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Carlton. Present were the following Board members: Councilman Jeffery Gifaldi, Councilman John Fitzak and Councilwoman Deborah Yockel. Councilman Dana Woolston was excused. Also present was Kurt VanWycke Highway Supt. Roll call and the Pledge of Allegiance was said. Kurt VanWycke asked for permission to purchase a cab and chassis from Robert Green Truck Division for the amount of $46,483.40. Mr. VanWycke stated that the other parts for putting the truck together in house will be around $13,920.55. A motion by Mrs. Ashbery to approve the total project of $60,403.95, second by Mr. Fitzak and carried. A motion by Mr. Gifaldi to approve replacing pins and other needed work second by Mrs. Yockel and carried. A motion by Mr. Gifaldi to approve the purchase of a used generator for the amount of $8,600.00 second by Mrs. Ashbery and carried. A motion by Mrs. Yockel to approve the purchase of a pressure regulator for the amount of $ 4,650.00 was second by Mr. Fitzak and carried. Mr. VanWyke stated that this will go in the Rt98 Pit that has been shut down since the water main break in 2017. A motion by Mrs. Ashbery to approve the Standard workday form for John Fitzak with the record of activities result at .85, seconded by Mr. Gifaldi and carried At 5:35 a motion by Mr. Fitzak to Recess the Regular Town Board Meeting to February 22 nd at 6:30 pm, second by Mr. Gifaldi and carried.
