Call to order at 6: 00 pm 1. MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT AND POSTING 2. ROLL CALL 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Moved by County Board Ch air Alice Connors and seconded by Supervisor Samuel Breeden to approve September 8, 2026, agenda. Motion carried unanimously. 5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Moved by Supervisor Jake Wayne and seconded by citizen member Laura Geiger to approve July 14, 2026, Meeting Minutes . Motion carried unanimously. 6. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION a. None 7. COMMUNICATIONS a. None 8. DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS Jayna Hintz, Area Extension Director , Department Report i. Review of UW Extension Goals for 202 7 1. Provided a written copy of UW Extension ’s Goals for 2027. ii. Update on the August 11 th Community Needs Forum 1. Area Extension Director, Jayna Hintz, s hared a verbal update on turn out and plans to hold another session on November 5, 2026. iii. Update on 2027 UW Extension Department Budget 1. Area Extension Director, Jayna Hintz, provided a visual of the submitted 2027 UW Extension budget. iv. Provided UW Extension Impact Report Highlights 1. Area Extension Director, Jayna Hintz, provided a written report that share d Positive Youth Development programs that have been completed in Calumet County and highlights programs delivered by other institutes within Extension that residents of Calumet County participate in and find valuable. b. Carlea Liermann, 4-H Program Educator, 4 -H Report i. Share updates on summer 4-H programming . 1. Fair Recap (4-H Members) a. 4-H Members Christina Schnell and 4-H Member Caroline Majeski shared information on their 4-H projects and fair entries. Caroline received Grand Champion Ban tam Junior for her White Polish Bantam Hen. Christine received first place in her photography , baking, and swine entries. 2. Expanding Capacity with Spark Workshops & AmeriCorps members a. 4-H Educator, Carlea Lonergan, provided a recap on summer workshops and outreach AmeriCorps members led over the summer. 3. New AmeriCorps Member update for fall 2026 and spring 2027. a. Carlea introduced the new AmeriCorps member, Chrstin a Schnell, who will start in the role on October 4. 9.
