CITY OF NEW HOLSTEIN POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES September 11, 2025 Location: City Hall, 2110 Washington Street, New Holstein, WI 53061 Members Present: Elroy Schreiner, Sonny Schaar, Chuck Meves, Mark Growe Others Present: Police Chief Fisher, Police Captain Schroeder, and City Administrator Scott Depies The meeting was called to order by President Schreiner. It was noted that the meeting was properly announced. Roll call was taken by Schaar. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A motion was made by Meves, seconded by Growe and carried, to approve the agenda. A motion was made by Growe, seconded by Meves to approve the minutes from the previous meetings. No public comments were made. A motion was made by Meves, seconded by Growe and carried to adjourn and to reconvene in closed session to consider employment of a public employee over which the Commission has jurisdiction, per Wisconsin State Statute 19.85 (1)(c). - Interviews for Full Time Officer Position. A motion was made by Meves, seconded by Growe and carried to adjourn the closed session and to reconvene in open session. A motion was made by Schaar, seconded by Schreiner and carried to not proceed with any of the candidates interviewed. Upon a call of the motion the motion passed with Schreiner, Schaar, Meves, Growe and voting aye. The next regular scheduled meeting will be in November or called as needed. The meeting adjourned.
